Simon Robertson (GDC No: 65840)

Dentist

Simon qualified in 1990 from the University of Bristol. After a year of vocational training Simon joined the practice in 1992.

He enjoys looking after his patients in a kind and caring environment and to a very high standard. Simon has an interest in quality general and cosmetic dentistry. In 1998 he undertook a year long post-graduate course in the different implant systems available and has been placing Straumann implants since.

Simon is a member of the ITI (International Team for Implantology) and both the Bristol and South West implant study groups.

Outside of dentistry Simon enjoys family life and a healthy interest in cycling, cricket, the garden, dog walking and being outdoors.

Federico Zanutto (GDC No: 107055)

Dentist

Federico was born in Italy and qualified from the University of Trieste in 2005. Previously he worked at Trieste Dental Hospital and various private practices in Italy while in 2006 he volunteered in Imperatriz, Brazil.

In 2007, he took the decision to relocate to Bath, where he has have settled with his family. Since then, he worked in different dental practices in Wiltshire and Somerset until he joined Somerford House Dental Clinic/Portishead Dental Clinic in 2021.

Federico strongly believes in modern and evidence based dentistry, offering all aspects of general dentistry. Some years ago, however, he started to develop a greater interest in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatments) and for this reason, in 2016, he has started a 3 year Master degree in Clinical Endodontics at the University of South Wales which he completed in 2019 with Distinction.

This reflects his wish to deliver a high standard of care to the patients, with particular focus on Endodontics, and ensure they are treated in a professional and welcoming way.

In his spare time, he enjoys doing outdoor and cultural activities with his family, watching art films, listening to music and reading.

Kelly Shah (GDC No: 279198)

Dental Hygienist

Kelly's journey into dentistry is quite unique. In 2015, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from The University of West England. Interestingly, after completing her Art Degree, she found herself drawn to the world of dentistry and decided to stay, never looking back. It was also within this industry that she met her now husband.

Kelly has been an integral part of our team since qualifying in 2021 from the University of Cardiff.
She brings a wealth of experience to our clinic, having worked as a dental practice manager and as a Dental Nurse in general and surgical dentistry. Kelly is incredibly passionate about her role and is dedicated to educating others about oral health.

Outside of her professional life, Kelly is an avid traveller who loves exploring the globe and embarking on adventures in her VW Campervan. She has set a personal goal of reading at least fifteen books a month and enjoys finding quiet corners to indulge in her reading. When she's not immersed in a book, she cherishes spending time with her family and her beloved dogs, Nala and Stiorra.

Anne Wynne (GDC No: 4581)

Anne qualified as a Hygienist 1993 and Joined the Dental Clinic Portishead in 2023

Liberty joined The Dental Clinic Portishead in November 2025, bringing with her 10 years of experience in dentistry.
In her spare time, Liberty enjoys reading, gardening and spending quality time with friends & family.

Sandra joined The Dental Clinic Portishead in 2010 and has been a dedicated member of the team ever since. With her warm, approachable manner and strong commitment to patient care, she helps ensure every visit is calm, welcoming, and well supported. Sandra takes pride in building positive relationships with patients and contributing to the smooth running of the practice

Jayne has worked within the dentistry industry for over 40 years. As a previous practice manager for The Dental Clinic Portishead. Jayne moved positions within the clinic and works part time as registered dental nurse at Portishead. Jayne enjoys caring for patients, and working with a great and enthusiastic team.

Julie Wingrove

Julie joined the practice as a Receptionist just over 2 years ago. Prior to this Julie worked at Rolls-Royce for 25 years in a secretarial/PA role.
In her spare time Julie enjoys meeting friends, spending time with my family and watching my youngest son play football. I also play walking football in an attempt to keep fit!

Vicky brings four years of administrative experience across the legal and business sectors, where she built strong organisational, communication, and client-support skills. She later transitioned into dentistry, joining the University of Bristol as a Trainee Dental Nurse and gaining valuable clinical experience in a high-standard teaching environment while supporting dental students. In 2024, Vicky joined The Dental Clinic Portishead to further her career, providing compassionate, reliable, and patient focused dental care to the local community.
