My dental degree was gained from Bristol University in 1999 with commendations in oral surgery and endodontics. I have worked previously in Lymington, Hampshire and also at the emergency dental department in Southampton. In 2001 I started work at The Downend Dental Practice where I simultaneously gained a Diploma in Dental Studies comprising periodontics, anxiety control, sedation and crown and bridges. I have also a MSc in dental implantology and had have been successfully placing different implant systems for several years as well as bone grafting.
I place great importance in prevention and in providing totally pain free treatment in a calm controlled manner. I believe that successful treatment can be delivered with experience, teamwork, careful planning and great materials. All work is carefully scrutinized by using high magnification and perfect illumination. I take great pride in my work and all times I strive to give the patient the best possible outcome.
I have been living in Portishead with my family for the past 8 years and feel part of the community. My three children all attend a local primary school as well as various local clubs. Personally I am a keen tennis player and I have a membership at Portishead lawn tennis club. I take an active interest in food (which I love) and manage grow a few vegetables and some lovely fruit in the summer at Gertie Gale allotments. Given the chance I would be off skiing or playing golf as well
